recorded may 2018 at the gas station, toronto island. overdubs in september 2018 with mixing and editing throughout that winter / spring. these songs pre-date the mercury record, and are the first songs we recorded once we started up in earnest as an electric big band. we recorded on a tascam 85-16 1” 16 track tape recorder, then edited digitally. dale mastered it on a studer ¼” tape recorder to warm it up. plumber’s remorse and pipefitter were recorded on the yamaha md8 8 track during the fall 2008 sessions for harvester, and were recorded at 3 castles, buckhorn, ontario.
